The building down and to the right in the thumbnail, at the corner of Main & Houston, is the Records Building and used to include the county jail. And that’s where Jack Ruby died. It was also the destination of Lee Harvey Oswald, before Jack Ruby shot him. What was then City Hall was also the city jail and that’s where JR shot LHO

Two blocks southeast of the Depository building, you'll see what looks like a small, white open-ended box. That is the Kennedy Memorial. Just off the southern edge of the photo is Reunion Tower. This is the tower they show on most professional sports broadcasts that looks like a tee-ball stand with Christmas lights.
