Here’s a cool sculpture, ‘Picture This‘ outside the North Carolina Museum of Art is made of all sorts of different stuff (pavement, wooden boardwalk, sand, gravel, etc). Tom Cole says:

It’s almost impossible to clearly make this out at ground level

He’s right too. Over at the Museum’s homepage they’ve got some ground level shots, and it certainly doesn’t look like much from down there… looks great from up here though!

    When Google Maps started up that was one of the first things I looked for (I live in Raleigh)… I’m glad to see it’s on a list where others outside of Raleigh can see it!
