Were there some events going on or is that the normal daily traffic in New York?
I’d say that “that is the normal traffic”; remember that’s the financial district down there, and from the building shadows, it appears to still be morning.
I can see the footprints of the towers. Sacred soil.
Actually, it looks like it’s just a little congestion from the reconstruction. If you look at the cross-streets, there’s minimal traffic, and if you go uptown a couple blocks, there really aren’t any cars backed up at the traffic lights. In rush hour, the city can go into complete gridlock; it’s gonna sound like an exaggeration, but quite honestly sometimes it’s literally taken me 2 hours to cross the couple miles from Brooklyn to New Jersey.

Are there sat pics form when the towers were still there? A comparison would be interesting.
I’ve never been there before cuz I live in Southeast Asia.. but after seeing this, I promise I will go..
