The arch is actually twice as tall as it is wide, not equal height and width as the review states.
If it were as tall as it it is wide it would be circle, not arch.

Ok, Look back at my comment about Mt. Rushmore which was the previous map photo, then look at this one, and tell me that someone at Google does not have a seriously twisted sense of humor.

Or is it just me???

Also, just to the west of Busch Stadium is a big round, white oval, which is the Savvis Center arena, home to the NHL's St. Louis Blues.

The TWA building you guys are refering to is yes indeed the Edward Jones Dome, but it is definitely NOT being demolished. It no longer has TWA on the roof, since it was renamed the Edward Jones Dome. The St. Louis Rams play in this indoor stadium. The one being demolished is Busch Stadium. This is the last seasons the St Louis Cardinals wil play baseball at Busch Stadium, and a new one is currently being built. Then the old will will be demolished. Both the new and the old baseball staduims are outside stadiums , no roofs...

Aha, thanks for clearing that up! Not even being american or having visited the US yet, I wouldn't have known that!

The "TWA" building you refer to is in fact the Edward Jones dome. The images of St. Louis seem to be about 2.5 to 3 years old.

The stadium is about to be "Demolished". There is a new stadium being built right now, right next to the existing one. After this season is over, they will demolish Busch stadium to make room for the other half of the new stadium. Somehow, they plan on finishing the other half during the winter off-season so that the next season will be played in the new one.
