IMAX Theater, Little Rock

The IMAX Theater at the Aero Space Education Center in Little Rock, Arkansas is right next door to the runway of Little Rock National Airport so it’s obvious why they put the “IMAX” logo on the roof but I wonder how much soundproofing that place needs? (The airport is just to the north – spot the blue plane!)

Wondered why shows like Batman and Fantasia 2000 weren’t shown at the IMAX? I asked. The response — it’s not an educational program and we only show educational programming. Well, in my opinion every movie is educational and I felt Fantasia 2000 was a great “music appreciate” sort of educational. It’s classical isn’t it?
