I wondered about that too, why the Myrtle Beach pier area is just a bunch of pixels, but less interesting areas are full res.

Did you know that the sculpture at Cadillac Ranch got moved once. It used to be right next to the highway, but when plans were made to widen the road, someone paid to have it all relocated far enough away that it shouldn't ever get in anyone's way again.

Dave - we didn't think many people on the site would get that joke so we left it out - glad someone thought of it though ;-)

ironcladlou - Although I was under the impression that I mentioned everyone who posted this, my apologies if I left you out... However, I think you've had plenty of mentions so far, don't you...? ;-D

I have to ask, why is it that middle of nowhere Tejas has full resolution photos (of large fields and empty spaces), yet places like Richmond VA are mostly low resolution, except for the panel with the airport and west end ? Is there more money in field photos from farmers looking to learn about crop/soil/growing conditions ? (and empty expanses ... ??)
