Someone really needs to fire those engineers… ;-)

It’s actually a triple if you count the railroad bridge to the left

  2. Nick says:

Yes. This is actually an interesting place, because you can: follow the river west to a dam, which is only slightly off: pretty big, too! follow the river east to an OK bridge

  3. Keith says:

There is also a Placemark: plane in flight / Google Earth along with two missed bridges further down (up?) that river. It looks familiar, so it may have been posted in the planes in flight megapost.

just to the east is this wonderfully crazy messup: Placemark: Google Maps / Google Earth

Just outside the airport is this nice design:

And the airport itself is misaligned, giving some interesting ghost planes:

    and

There’s another plane in flight (West this time) near some more misalignment places:

    Continues through this airport:

HA didn’t realize this was nearby until I clicked the google link. I cross that bridge all the time.

Here is yet another plane off to the west:

And if you go even further to the west you can find this neat 4(?) lane underground highway tunnel thing.

  9. slacker says:

Sweet, the highway (I-10) actually takes a nice stretch in a tunnel. I’ve never seen it from a birds eye view though. That is cool.

  10. pooms says:

Check out this misaligned freeway: Placemark: Google Maps / Google Earth the misalignment exactly manages to connect the northbound lanes with the southbound lanes! In fact, I’m willing to bet that this is the source for all of the misalignments in this post. Presumably an automated registration algorithm picked the wrong lanes of the freeway to match up, forcing the misalignment (I assume that someone wouldn’t have been stupid enough to do this manually!)

  11. Big Jeffrey says:

here’s another small tunnel which is maybe 1.5 mile further down the goden gate bridge…

it is just a small tunnes but at least it IS a tunnel ;-)

    it’s fixed :(
