Bridge Over Troubled Water

Friday, 10th June 2005 by Alex

Okay, okay… It’s a weak link but I couldn’t resist. Troubled water? No? Never mind.

Check out this great bridge over a frozen river in Howland, Maine. Actually, Howland appears to be just North of a place which seems familiar somehow…

Bridge and Ice

Also, we seem to be a little short on submissions for Maine. If you’ve got any good sights, please submit them so we can improve on the only two we’ve posted so far, thanks :-)

Thanks to Ben Singleton.

the reason there aren’t any good Maine shots? because there is no zoom on the entire state. frustrating, I love Maine.

we do have a few areas of high res but mostly portland/other coastal regions.

It’s too bad because we have a lot to offer!!

DAMMIT! Now you’ve got that song in my head.

Neat pic. Goes well with that weird river / park thing in Tempe, AZ. from the dual mis-matched bridge pic.
