Follow the axis from the Arc de Triomphe right out of the city, and you reach the modern arch at La Defense: View Placemark / Google Earth

Then draw a straight line between La Defense arch and the Eiffel Tower, and keep going, and you reach the Tour Montparnasse, the only skyscraper in Paris (not a clear enough picture to post as a separate place!) View Placemark / Google Earth

Just south-East of the tower, you can see the Field of Mars witch is the big park leading to the Military Academy.
