This place somewhere in Germany is called Herten. ;-) It’s located in the “Ruhrgebiet” (don’t know if there is a English expression), one of the biggest congested areas in europe…

  2. Andy says:

What about the world headquarters in Atlanta? Can anyone provide a link?

  3. Jeff says:

This should be the Atlanta HQ:
Placemark: Google Maps / Google Earth

it’s the beginnig… spam in google maps!

    remember me, Im predict this!

    It’s the future!

  5. Luke says:

On a side note, haven’t they made ads in space illegal?

  6. Ryder says:

I think that Coca Cola just painted that on top of their roofs. I really don’t believe this is the begining of google spamming in their maps.

  7. Not far to the southwest is the “Veltins-Arena” in Gelsenkirchen, a multipurpose stadium, mainly used by the german soccer club “Schalke 04″:

Placemark: Google Maps / Google Earth

The roof can be closed and on the lower left side one can see the soccer field. It lies in kind of a tray of 11.000 tons and can be drawn completely out of the stadium.

  8. robert says:

I dont think that is painted on, but maybe a shaped skylight window from the factory, as the light seems to be of the same intensity.

Have these images been updated since last year i wonder because the coca cola logo on the german factory is nowhere to be seen?
