There IS a bulls-eye on top of the Target store near Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport in Atlanta, Georgia…..but the photo on Google EArth doesn’t show the shopping center, only the construction site. My BF lived near that completed shopping center, and I used to look for the Target as my flights to Atlanta were landing

I saw this idea and decided to run with it. Place your own ads on the google map at http://www.virtualtrespassing.com. I’m calling the concept of placing a virtual billboard and blogging about it Virtual Trespassing. I’m sure it’s just another stupid idea.

Don't put your business name on your roof, instead write GOOGLE SUX real big on your roof, then when they take the pictures again it will raise so much buzz people when want to know the company that did it.

Make sure you take pictures of your staff painting it on and periodically leak those to the web during your one week of fame. I already proposed it to my boss and they shot it down, so I'm letting everyone else know about my idea.

I am planning to put my web address ( http://www.mini4×4.net ) in giant letters in the Idaho desert, I will spell it out with lava rocks and will put the outline of one of my trucks with the address as well. Ill have info on the site soon.

Now that Las Vegas is high res (in Google Earth at least), the casinos need to paint ads on their roofs. Their roofs are rather plain and don’t even tell you what hotel/casino it is.

Placemark: This Target / Google Earth, just south of Washington (D.C.) National Airport, used to have a logo on the roof but it has since been painted over. You can faintly see the logo in the image on terraserver.com.

Just north you can see the disused train bridges over Four Mile Run from when the Target area was still Potomac Yard.

Placemark: This is the site of a Target / Google Earth (my wife and I visited this Target the last time we were in that area) near Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport in Atlanta, but in the Google photograph, the site is under construction. Therefore, I don’t know if there is a Target logo on the roof or not.

This isn’t Target, but Placemark: Ontario Mills Mall / Google Earth, on approach to Placemark: Ontario International Airpot / Google Earth in Ontario, CA.
