Anyone have coordinates for the partridge in a pear tree? I can’t seem to find it.

  2. jared says:

there’s also a Beer Garden at the end for the adults. By the time you get there you’ll be dead tired – its a long walk to the end and back

Also, there’s a cool building in google earth right before the pier starts

  3. Alex says:

lostdog, you not see the partridge? Right there next to the two turtle doves?

    Sorry. I couldn’t help it ;-P

Here is an odd sight. A cruise ship in a LAKE! Placemark: Google Maps / Google Earth

  9. Theresa says:

wow… yeah… no one will read this but William, that’s the Chicago Yacht Club’s ship that doesn’t go anywhere. Although there are cruise ships that are a bit smaller but about that size that cruise the great lakes all the time. :) it’s not that odd.

  10. James says:

    Theresa,

I read your comment! So why do they have a cruise ship that doesn’t go anywhere? Seems a bit stupid to me.

  11. lbmouse says:

The ship is of historical significance and the yacht club uses it for special functions.

Sigh… Look south at what’s happened to what used to be Meigs airport. Anyone who’s played any of Microsoft’s flight simulators should be at least a little bummed out about its demise. Placemark: Google Maps / Google Earth

I heard it used to go somewhere but the engine seized up..
