[Anne Frank's house](http://maps.google.com/maps?ll=52.374800,4.883916&spn=0.004412,0.007206&t=k&hl=en) can be found going west from the palace. If you follow the channel northwards from the tower of the Westerkerk ("western church"), it's the 2nd house after the sidestreet. A picture taken from the north can be found on the [Anne Frank website](http://www.annefrank.org/content.asp?PID=255&LID=1) On the northern edge of the high resolution area you'll find [Amsterdam Central Station](http://maps.google.com/maps?ll=52.379352,4.900503&spn=0.004411,0.007206&t=k&hl=en) with the ferries just to the north of it. One of the ferries connects to the [island](http://maps.google.com/maps?ll=52.377433,4.928312&spn=0.035291,0.057648&t=k&hl=en) where my house is, unfortunately this is still in low resolution. Finally my hometown :-)
