The other ships in the immediate area are...

Immediately to the NW is the Mattoso Maia (USS Newport class) large landing ship, formerly the USS Cayuga (LST-1186).

To the W of that are two EX US Allen M Sumner Class Destroyers.

There are also two more EX US Allen M Sumner Class Destroyers docked just south of the sailing ship.

Further to the east is the Ceara (ex USS Thomaston) class dock landing ships, formerly either the USS Hermitage (LSD 34) or the USS Alamo (LSD 33).

Ofthe two aircraft carriers to the far south th larger is the Sao Paulo and the one to its East is the Minas Gerais.

The three ships at the west end of that quay are Inhauma Class Frigates.</description>
