I saw this film when it came out in the late 1950s in Southern Calilfornia. I loved it and Norway, and I still have the book. Such nice memories.

Hi folks. I live in Bergen, Norway where the Christian Radich lies mostly. Fun fact: In Bergen they sell a bread called "Spleise brød" and for each bread you buy, one krone (norwegian currency) goes to the ship for maintenance etc.

My father worked as chief projectionist at the Dominion theatre when Cinemiracle was first set up and I remember seeing the film for the one and only time . The first few minutes were centre screen only. Then, as the Christian Radich appeared , front on to the screen, both outer curtains were withdrawn and the full majesty of the ship was revealed. Subsiquently my Dad went to work in Stockholm to assist the set up of the Cinemiracle system. As just a schoolboy I was fortunate to have four weeks during the school holidays ,in Stockholm ,hanging around the cinema. Still today, I look in awe at those ships of yesterday,

I know they have a giftshop in the warehouse next to the ship. Maybe they have that movie for sale.
