Ericsson?

Tuesday, 6th December 2005 by Alex

I’m looking at my mobile phone here, and I’m pretty sure it says ‘Sony Ericsson’ across the front… Isn’t it about time these guys updated their roof?

Thanks to Steven Arnold.

  1. 1. Bill says:

Sony Ericsson is a joint venture between the Sony corporation and the Ericsson corporation to make and market mobile phones. Both still exist as separate entities.

    From the Sony-Ericsson website:
“Sony Ericsson, a 50:50 joint venture of Sony Corporation and Ericsson AB, was established in October 2001. “

Ericsson still exists as a separate entity.

iawtc. Ericsson still makes telecommunications equipment on its own, and Sony still makes malware-tainted-CDs on its own.
