This reservoir (used for water storage and pressure enhancement) was uncovered until the mid-1960's. Ironically, houses near it must have pumps and storage tanks to get decent pressure. The tower at 4 o'clock in the pictures is for local fire and emergency services and also cell phones (Nextel was the original colonist).

When it was uncovered it was said to have been a favorite site for skinny-dipping.

The elevation of the hill is about 360 feet above sea level.

Since when are reservoirs white? It's 180 feet in diameter according to the Concord WebGIS site. It's sitting on a lot of 3.5 acres. It is at the top of a hill so some kind of water storage facility would seem to make sense.
