Satellite Furniture Manufacturer

Tuesday, 7th February 2006 by James

Submitter Cybervox points us to a suspicious building that supposedly houses a furniture manufacturer, yet has almost a dozen satellite dishes in various sizes. His website has ground level photos and speculation on what goes on there.

Government conspiracy or a guy with a lot of TV channels? Decide for yourselves.

Update: If you can’t be bothered deciding for yourself then read this very thorough comment from kjfitz, who completely debunks the conspiracy theories.

Radio Controlled Aeroplane

by Alex

Here on Two Tree Island, England, our submitter has actually managed to spot an individual person, flying a radio controlled aeroplane! The plane is easy enough to see, and the person is identifiable by the person-shaped shadow extending north.

With the increased resolution of Google Local, people are submitting increasingly tiny things for us to post, but so far, I believe this one takes the biscuit. Very cool.

More info at the South Essex Model Aircraft Society website.

Many thanks to Steve “My eyes ache” Wrona.
