Wonderful Things Inside

Wednesday, 15th February 2006 by James

Desperate to get people through the doors, The San Diego Museum of Man in Babloa Park proclaims that there’s “Wonderful Things Inside” to those on approach to Lindbergh Field Airport. Can anyone verify the claim?

Thanks: js

Wrong museum… That is the San Diego Museum of Art http://www.sdmart.org/index.asp

This is the Museum of Man Placemark: Google Maps / Google Earth

Both in Balboa Park & both full of wonderful stuff

Just a note…It’s Lindbergh Field (not Linburgh), which is named after famed aviator Charles Lindbergh. This was where he initially took off in the Spirit of St. Louis en route to his record setting flight.

just so you know–if you wanna view it in google earth–the building can no longer be seen
it must have been demolished or something…
its nothing but an airport and traces of the building

The building is still there - however, it is not the Museum of Man, it is the San Diego Museum of Art. The Museum of Man is at the California Tower just a little west of this building
