Flying Car

A few weeks ago various news sources picked up the story of a Flying Car in Google Earth. It looks to me like it’s more hovering than actually flying but it definitely resembles a normal car, although I can’t be certain if it’s a DeLorean or not.
To feed the conspiracy theorists commenter Roy has discovered that this is not an isolated case as there’s another example further to the south. Do you all still think it’s a canopy?

hey i just saw this and i thought straight away that it was a sky diver landing as sky divers parachutes have three sections and this obviously has 3 sections too………..
A black car? - if u look at the other high objects like the trees, they cast a shadow of the same ‘black hue’ as the anomaly. This anomaly is also juxtaposed in the same direction as the shadows of the other objects - coincedence? Its a rectangular object, definitely looks like a bus (if u examine the cars in the car park, they have the same definition as the white part of the anomaly) - quite high off the ground. If that area is steep, or ramped I would suggest it could be a bus crash.
Maybe this is the sister car of the one listed (also in Australia).

I live in Perth and I can safely put this to rest - whilst I would love to tell you we take the Potter’s sedan out on the weekends this simply just isn’t the case!
Also, there are no permanent structures on that part of the shore either!
“northern git” got it right on “January 25th, 2006 at 6:01 pm” when he / she said it was a canopy. Correct. Not even a big one! These are very common amongst aussies otherwise we fry!!! they can be bought from a variety of places for a mere $AU20!
Now if I can tee up the guys at Google to have the satellite flying, I’ll take my four person hovercraft for a spin over the Swan River and you can all look at that…!

I´m guessing, it´s a shadow right next to the car and on the other hand it could be a black car parked next to the othet car.
Well i recon its a black car,
look at the other cars, theres no shadow on them, allowing the white car to not have a shadow there for ruling out “flying” the “shadow” is simply a black car. face it.

I know that Clinton Bird said that there’s no way that this is a kite, but im sure it is. If you go out to the end of the wharf, which is just north-east of our fling car, you can see something that is exactly the same shape and size. Since this is a kite surfing place, doesn’t it make sense? On second thought, it just could be the Quidditch World Cup, and all the wizards are just on their way to it (some of them seem to be getting a bit careless about muggles seeing them)
keep in mind most ppl don’t park on the grass! in both picutres the “car” is on the grass area. maybe it’s a tent where the valet drivers sit. or a lemonade stand?
Both images of Flying Cars are from the west coast of Australia. They’re probably falling off the bottom of the earth. What I’d like to know, though, is how do the other cars and trucks stick?

Well, I knew we couldnt keep it a secret forever.. I guess I may as well tell you all, us perth residents ALL have flying cars.. time machines, too!
Seriously though, the shape of them is too symmetrical to be a car, even a car parked next to another car, so I’m guessing it’s a tower with either measuring equipment on it, or some kind of relay station for radio stuff.. However, I’ve checked another site that has aerial photography of western australia, and they dont show up on that one (it’s more recent than the google earth imagery), so.. they must have just been temporary..
How about it being a small advertising balloon. The shadow is quite a distance from the object if you think of the height that this was taken from.

I would not usually comment on something that would make me appear like im nuts, and i dont know about that picture….but the other night i was coming home and there was these headlights in the sky….too low for a plane and not a helicopter….anyhow my first thought was that was a car, it had no wings, the lights were just like headlights of a car, and i could make out the outline of it and again it had NO wings….so i come home kinda freaked out by this and the hubby made me realize i was nuts LOL…and hes the only one i had mentioned this to….well….tonight i had my 15 yr old daughter with me, i was taking one of her frineds to work, and we pull up at the p;ace and she say whoa, whered it go, i ask her what, and she says i coulda swore i just seen a flying car…well then im like trying to find it because i tell her the other night i coulda swore i seen one too and i kinda wrote off the idea of it….but now im convinced thats what i saw….which is what brought me to this site, searching the web for flying cars and sightings….and iknow what i saw was way too low to have been anyhting normal, but it was dark, and it wasnt moving like a palne or anything would, was moving slow and almost not moving at all….was very weird and ill always take my camera with me from now on and stop right in the midle of the road if i have to to get a picture lol

That is just a camper that is on jacks. I used to have one, and it was in my driveway, and it showed up on Google Earth/Maps as almost the same thing we are seeing here.

I definitley think that its a skydiver landing. This explains the two sightings where the photos would have been taken at different time but being the same skydiver.

ok, so i figured it out, its CLEARLY a billboard on the side of the road, if you look at the top pic you can se the angles of the “flying car” and you can tell that it is some kind of sign
