Leaning Tower of Niles
The Chicago suburb of Niles is home to the world-famous Leaning Tower of Pisa. No, wait, that can’t be right! This must be the Leaning Tower of Niles, a 1/2 size recreation of the Pisa bell tower, however there’s no bell as Niles’ version is a water tower.
More info and a ground-level shot on Roadside America.

I think Niles and Pisa have been named sister cities.
Woo! I live right by there. The building just to the North of the Tower is the “Leaning Tower YMCA.”
Next, you should show the very first McDonald’s franchise store in Des Plaines, IL!
I drove by this thing every day on my way to work, I never knew why it was there or what the point of it was.
I have family near there and I’ve always wondered why it was there every time we drove by. Now I can stop wondering…
