Rio de Janeiro’s location within steep mountains makes it perfect for the sports of hang and paragliders. Here on Pedra Bonita (”Beautiful Rock”) is one of over 50 launch ramps in Rio where those who are brave enough leap off and glide allllllllll the way down to the beach below.

Is that a paraglider with a purple parachute just jumped?
And is that a hand glider waiting to take off?

you know the only real problem with satelite photography is that it is hard to determine where there are cliffs. I know one is there, but you have to search hard to find it and if I was just skimming the area, I wouldn’t have even seen it
Where are they landing? The beach perhaps.
