There are five areas in the complex including an opera house, an IMAX theatre, a garden area, a science museum, and an open-air oceanographic park. This complex (and Gulliver Park) is built in the dry river bed of the now diverted River Turia. The river was diverted after a major flood in 1957. It was diverted to the south of the city and you can clearly see the man-made path... its much too straight compared to the rest of the river! Just to the southeast is some really cool architecture.
