Aske, just download <a href="http://googlesightseeing.com/gearth/interdimensional-portal.kml" rel="nofollow">this file</a>, and open that in Google Earth - it'll take you straight there!

To launch our sights in GE, just click the "View in Google Earth" link at the bottom right of every post.

These look like artifacts of direct, high intensity reflections hitting the satellite's optics just right. Flares like this are often seen in photographhy when an intense light source is in frame.

I figure it's a hole in the picture or something, cuz it's dark in the middle of the flashes. Maybe it's just the light behind from the scanner?

In Belgium, we have an interdimensional portal in the Flemish Parliament.

This portal was installed to allow members of the Parliament to commute in a split of a second, and thus minimizing the travelcosts. It was only after the very expensive construction of the main portal, that they realised that all members needed a second portal at home too.

In fact, the Parliament has a convex glass roof, so I guess the 'portal' is the reflection of the sunlight. Another mystery solved :-(
