Gigantic B2 Stealth Bomber

Wednesday, 29th November 2006 by Alex

Please note that some or all of the objects mentioned in this post are no longer visable on Google Earth or Google Maps.

Here on Tenerife there’s an absolutely gigantic shape on the landscape, which looks very like a B2 Stealth Bomber. Just a coincidental arrangement of images, or the accidental discovery of a super-secret B2 Invisibility Cloak?

    I sense a conspiracy! Or censure! Both of the images of the planes have been removed. Either google updated the site with new pictures today, or they were edited out…

    Craig the real B2 has indeed been removed since it was posted (well, it was 18 months ago), but the Gigantic one is still there… Or rather, isn’t!

    Dave, that’s the USS Intrepid, originally posted on this site way back on 16th April 2005,

    Hmm…well, makes a convincing B-2, doesn’t it? Who knows, maybe it is a cloaked B-2? Well, when I see it I’ll believe it.

  9. 9. swiftlytilting says:

    I imagine the darker area is just some imagery that was obtained at a different time than the rest of the surrounding imagery…

  10. 10. dave says:

    @James right u are, i addmit.

    @swifty yes, this seems to be the most likely explination for that stealthy shaped shadow.

  11. 11. toast says:

    it looks to convincing to be the b-2, I bet somone doctored it, I mean, what are the odds that someone looked on google earth and found a perfect shape of the b-2. I just don’t see it happening.

  12. 12. DuO says:

    if a B2 was flying at a relativly low altitude it could perhaps cast a very large shadow if it passed between the area in question and the sun. If you look closely at the buildings their shadows (in both the light and that dark part) are going the same direction so that would incline me to believe that this whole picture was taken at once, shadow and all. I’m sure if you looked hard enough and long enough you would eventually find the plane (if it hasn’t been edited out).

    I think someone is just having a bit of fun down at mapping…

  14. 14. marc says:

    sorry to ruin your conspiracy story, but if you go a bit more south you will see that is probably a coincidental arrangement of images
