I just discovered this site today and was pleasantly surprised to find a featured page on Woodstock, IL, the little town in which I was born and raised. Nice!

I notice that in 2007, Groundhog day is on Fri. Do they have a "Groundhog Day" weekend after that, or are all the festivities on the 2nd. BTW, Ground Hog day is my FAVORITE all-time movie! I would LOVE to go to Woodstock and see all the sites! If any one has any info please leave it or a web-site. Thanks!

We live in Woodstock and this is the first thing we mention when anyone asks where we live. Groundhog Day has embedded itself in Woodstock's culture, so when I saw this notice on my Sightseer newsletter, I was amazed! Thanks for putting our little town on the map!
