Fish Pond
There’s an odd fish-shaped clearing in the forest just outside the Dutch city of Ommen.
However, even using my best Google searching abilities, I can’t find any information on whether or not the clearing is a natural phenomena or a man-made advert for a great fishing spot.
If it is a fishing spot then we could say there’s both fish in the pond and pond in the fish

Haha! Free advertising if the above comment is anything to go by.
Judging from the info on this site, the pond (named zeeserven) appears to be natural. A “ven” is a type of pond found in natural areas in this part of the netherlands, but I wouldn’t really know the english word.
A “ven” is a “fen” in English.
“low land that is covered wholly or partly with water unless artificially drained and that usually has peaty alkaline soil and characteristic flora (as of sedges and reeds)”, says Merriam-Webster online (www.m-w.com).
You can translate “ven” also as ‘mere’ ‘pool’ or (US south) ‘glade’. Here you go.
And I’s say the other shapes are jellyfishes
It’s the snack that smiles back, until you bite its head off… poor goldfish crackers…
What is type of vegatation of a “ven”? It looks rather “muck” like and not deep at all. Does this support any stable fish populations?
just a coincedence mabey. looks like theres a pond or something in there. hmmmmm… I wonder if there are actually fish in there
