Rocket Powered Car!
Remember how excited everybody got when we thought Australians were all driving flying cars? Well here in Arkansas, blazing down the I-30 towards Little Rock, we find . . . a Rocket-Powered Car!
This couldn’t be anything other than some crazy genius driving a four-wheeled rocket along the interstate, as it quite clearly has massive flames shooting out the back.
Thanks to Julian.

Yup – powered by green pea soup lake a few yards to the East Placemark: Google Maps / Google Earth
(Boringly) perhaps it’s just someone on their way back from the US equivalent of B&Q with some long bits of wood sticking out the back.
Jet car is better though!
Although a rocket car would be cool, it appears to be lumber sticking out the rear window, as andy indicated. Must have went to Home Depot or Lowes, or whatever they have in Arkansas.
Such scepticism! It’s clealy Batman on his way to fight crime in Little Rock.
Planks
Awesome. Has anyone here seen the Street Legal Jet Powered VW Beetle?
Woah! That VW is awesome!
Dammit, I wanted to post that Beetle!
Same vehicle, other link: http://www.ronpatrickstuff.com/
Don’t want to be behind THAT when the lights change…
Watch that crazy rocket beetle in action on youtube: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TSn2igZtuPA
It’s not Rocket Powered but it is pretty sweet. 100 MPG and 100 MPH

It’s Richard Hammond! You just can’t keep a good hamster down.
Strange, this rocket-powered car is just being overtaken by an other car!
It’s a Kayak sticking out the back of a Pickup truck. I’d say it’s probubly of the Ocean Kayak Drifter/Prowler variety used most frequently for Fishing. Thats exactly what my 2005 Ranger looks like from way up there with a Kayak in the bed hanging off the back and bed cover pulled over. Also you can tell it’s a Truck by comparing the shape of the shadow. You can odviously disprove Rocketry pretty easily, no smoke trail, no exaust distortion and so forth.
