Aliens Invade Romania

I think no-one can doubt that aliens have definitely landed!

Both of these spacecraft are located in farmland outside the Romanian city of Timisoara. Romania is not known as a major UFO hotspot, but to our alien overlords Roswell is probably passé1.

That said, this isn’t the first sighting of our visitors to Romania: the Romanian UFO Network2 have hundreds of blurry pictures of similar looking craft (or clouds).

So, UFO sceptics, do you have another explanation of what we’re seeing here?

  1. Google Earth Blog has a time-lapse placemark of UFO sightings across the globe since 1944, and they’re almost all in the US. ↩

  2. Unfortunately, the automatic translation of the site makes less sense to me than the Romanian. ↩

    Hah! What a weird website, I can’t read it but I watched the youtube videos. This is interesting but it probably isn’t a UFO because that picture looks way to much like what people think UFOs look like.

    I say it is either a grain silo, or livestock feeder.
    I propose the livestock feeder because the shadows don’t appear as long as I would expect from a grain silo for what is obviously a large farming area.

    I am from Romania, but sadly, not from that part of Romania to go there and make u a picture. Anyway, Romania it’s a great place to spot UFO’s, and particularly, that area. Personally, i don’t believe that aliens are among us, but we have a strong UFO community.

    To be fair, the UFO map shown at my blog is from a source that only provides data for the US and Canada. So, there could be almost as many UFO finds in other countries of the world. But, I’m pretty sure the US has the most sightings because we have Area 51, Hollywood, and New York City (home to the alien immigrations and customs offices).

    The above “UFO” is just a building. I took pictures of it at the precise coordinate from Google Maps.

    UFO or not those are some great buildings.

    I’m from Timisoara and I don’t know any building that resembles to the one in the image around the town.

    I hope I don’t get kidnapped by aliens tonight :)

    the first pic, the trees are covering part of the air craft in a way that it wouldnt be possible to land from air. the dimensions are out if you look at the angle and shadows
