Just to let you know that Wordpress also told me to slow down when I went to post a comment on the Needles the other day. Had to type it out again. Very annoying!

James, I don't think you're in a position to comment on Football at all... Which major tournament have Scotland been in recently, eh? =D

@Tammo: not at all, Wordpress does that when it think you're posting comments within seconds of each other (like a spambot might). Let me know if it happens again.

@Franklin, Mark, Maff: Why must we always have this argument? ;-)

Wordpress told me to 'slow down' ... are you discouraging more than one post in 24 hours?
So here goes another attempt:
There are a few lampposts in the vicinity which cast nice clear shadows. Those shadows put the sun's Azimuth at fairly close to 125°. If you look at that day's tables for Dresden (the closest location they appear to have) on www.sunposition.net, you get a time of 11:00 ... so it's probably the warm-up party.

The proper English term is football! The sport is called football in every language on the globe except American English!

I agree with Nico. That's why the stadium is empty. If the crowd were watching the game as it was happening, we should be able to see it, too.

The moment I saw the title I was thinking, football as in American Football or Soccer? I'm Dutch, so litteraly I would say football as well, but I guess the proper English term is soccer ;-)

Anyway, nice picture :)
