@Cookie monster - As written in the post, "Århus" is actually written with an Å, a special danish letter. However, long time ago two a's were used and is still common when no å is available. Some towns is still written with the old spelling like Aalborg

I dunno if that's a ship container or not; it looks like one solid trailer to me. In the US, anyway, ship containers are placed on flatbed trailers, usually several to a trailer, and this looks like only one trailer.

Sorry to be a Peter Pedant but isnt this town spelt Aarhus?
I know its spelt with one 'a' on the map but i believe the correct Danish spelling is with two 'a's.
Carry on.

@Peter - Good point, and something that should have made me realise which way the lorry had come from! :) Århus is actually Denmark's main port (according to wikipedia).

PS: Maybe its my pre-Macworld excitement, but does anyone think the lorry behind the overturned one looks like a Mac Pro?! :D

It looks as if the load is a ship container, no doubt picked up at the nearby seaport.

Hi Gimenez,

Once again physics has beaten me with its giant stick of logic. By discussing the issue with a physics friend of mine, he explained that "the weight of the truck has been thrown outwards...so it took a wide fast arc and was on one side's wheels before it totally toppled." My original conclusion was drawn by using a coin to see which way it fell, but sadly the same weight distribution cannot be applied to an articulated lorry. :D

I've edited the post to correct it!

Cheers!

Judging by it`s position, I belive it was making a left turn, not a right turn.
