Cool! Two things puzzle me, though… How can the number of islands in the archipelago increase at low tide? I can imagine that at low tide some islands become connected, so you would expect there would be less islands. But if an island is underwater during high tide, it’s probably not an island but a shoal or mud flat or something…

And secondly, how do acrophobics feel when using Google Earth?

Its Pulau Langkawi not Palau. Pulau is a Malay word means island. Langkawi came from the word helang, which means eagle..
