The company that dumped the chemicals in Love Canal:

Hooker Chemicals.

I lived in the region and drove by it near twilight once before they tore the houses down. It was very eerie.
Besides the chain link fences with the barbed wire and the large danger signs with the skull and crossbones on them, the grass in the yards wsa about 4 feet tall, and the street lights still worked .

The Historical Imagery feature in Earth 5.0 shows historical imagery for Times Beach. The oldest imagery shows houses. Mid-90’s imagery shows what is apparently an incinerator that was used to destroy the dioxin. Newer imagery shows re-forestation.
