I really appreciate matt’s pics, they inspired me, i do almost the same in my site lafrecciaferma.wordpress.com so there are two virtual photographers on the Google Street View Environment! cool! two different eyes in the same “world”: interesting! Ciao Fabio from Italy

The fun in the Dutch Efteling theme park? I got about 200 yards past the front gate with me seven-year-old daughter a few years back, met a randy peacock. The trouble is, I got caught in a storm when young and the only shelter for a couple of hours was a peacock aviary – end result, I can imitate the Brigitte Bardot of peahens. That poor bird spent the rest of the afternoon on display, the visitors thought it was a model! As for me, I ambled around in the crowd making just enough noise to keep it interested without drawing attention! Still, my daughter loved it, which was the entire point.

Excellent post! I know what you mean about the 70s album cover-style colours of the old US imagery – I had this image saved from a post I was thinking of doing on weather captured on Street View (it seemed a good idea at the time…)

Wow Matt, these are cool photos and this is a cool idea. Thanks for sharing these. I love the idea. Keep it up, and figure out how to take it to the next level. Ever hear of the Diana project? This guy sent these cheap plastic cameras to celebrities and asked them to shoot all the film and then send them back. He made a famous traveling exhibit from the results. What can you do with your idea?

This is outstanding. I’ve certainly clicked through my share of Street View images over the years but clearly I don’t have the talent or patience to find gems like these. Wow. Thanks for sharing.
