Coeur d’Alene Golf Course

This 15,000 sq. ft. island is the floating green of hole 14 at the Coeur d'Alene Resort's golf course in Idaho. The island is automatically moved daily so the distance to the pin varies between 100-175 yards (it's always a par 3 though).
how do they get the balls off the island??
yeah, how does one get to the island?
Apparently they have a little speedboat to run players out to the island. I wonder how many golf balls there are in the surrounding water though!
I wonder how many times those guys in the speedboat get hit!
There’s a golf course with an island hole near hear. A guy makes some spending money retrieving and selling them in the club house. He’s got a big barrel near the cash register and they are sold cheap. People buy them.
What is off to the west a little more? More logs in the water?

yes, floating wood
Haha, that would be an awesome hole to play on. However, I assume the average golfer (myself) would most likely put it into the water. Would be a fun hole to play though
That is trule amazing. They run you out in a speed boat, that is so cool. I’d love to play this hole. And yeh, imagine all the golf balls in the surrounding water!
Holy smokes!!! A completely floating green which they can actually move. This is definitely a first for me. Can you image how many balls are in that water!
Based on my experiences tonight at the driving range and my inability to drive my ball further than 100 yds then without doubt I would be putting my ball into that water every time!!!
Does any body know about the construction method for this Island Green? Thank you
