Swirly Sands

Here's an absolutely fantastic image of what can only be described as swirly sands on Core Sound at Cape Hatteras, North Carolina. It seems that we're looking at sand ridges under the water and the channels running through them. Wonderful picture, many thanks to Pat Suwalski 😀
I think maybe the link is broken. Possibly.
Also in NC and dealing with moving sand…

From their web site: “Jockey’s Ridge is the tallest natural sand dune system in the Eastern United States.”
GDorn, the link seems fine to me? How do you mean, ‘possibly’?
What is this? An underwater-garden?

Fish farming, probably.
Fish farms, or maybe like clam or oyster farms
Does anyone else see the smiley face that is being covered/uncovered by the swirly sands?
Do you mean the little island a little north-west of the swirls… i think aliens put it there
