Globe Arena, Stockholm

The Globe Arena looks like a big golf ball but is actually the world's largest spherical building. Not much of a surprise there, it had to be the world's largest or tallest something π

Well, well…
The bridge over the high way, just to the right of “Globen” is finnished since 1 year now. So this picture isn’t updated. They have also rebuild the soccer stadium (but this isn’t shown on the picture….)
Although I can read (c)2005 google on it. I would say that this picture is from june 2004. Shame on you google π

Looks like it’s just a big white hole in the ground. π But if ju turn the picture up side down it becomes a globe. Weird photo.
Fredrik: It’s very common for our eyes to “invert” these type of images. Our brains have been wired to expect the light source (the sun) to be from the top, and shadows to be cast downwards. When we see a picture like this with the light source coming from the bottom and shadows cast upwards, our brains find an alternative interpretation.
