Airplane Home

Yup, some crazy person actually intends to live in this old Boeing 727 which he's got up on blocks in his garden, near Portland, Oregon. You can read more than you ever cared to know about his plans over at www.airplanehome.com.

That’s just stupid 😀
Lots of people have done this exact same thing.
Heck you can even get it done via Ebay.
I have actually seen a few (not in person) that look really nice. Maybe a sore site from the outside but can be pretty luxurious inside! Especially if they come with stewardesses!
From the image catalog:
Priceless.
What a wonderful way to extend the life of an airplane. I really like the ones that weathervane. If I could pull it off, I’d live in one and I bet I’d be the (secret) envy of everyone. These would also make great cocktail lounges or restaurants! Or what about a game room or computer cafe!
This is SERIOUS OCD! Poor guy.
This is freaking awsome! Great way to recycle and all that, but the cool factor..thats worth copying. I’ve always said that you could clear out a 747 and live in it. Heard that a sudi prince got one done in KS, (aircraft customization of the world, i’m dyin if i’m lyin) that when it was all ‘customized’ a fully loaded 747 could only handle 10 people and their luggage cuz of all the marble that was put in it. Not this elabrate, but a non-working one that just sits on the ground like this but a 747… heck yeah! i’m wierd i know,
