Updated imagery and more zoom levels!

Over at the official Google blog is the announcement of Google Local now using the same image database as Google Earth, as well as gaining two extra zoom levels! Of course that means there's even more cool places which we can visit via satellite sightseeing and perhaps re-visit some older sights with increased clarity.
If you find anywhere cool then make sure you get the kudos by letting us know via the Suggest a sight form.
Fantastic! That makes all the images available to those of us who can’t run Google Earth!
Anyone else notice the high-resolution imagery of Area 51?
ooh, check out the millenium wheel!!
You can actually see the changing of the guard marching in formation.

This is Buckingham Palace, right?
Interesting that in the process they’ve dropped the pixelation of the White House, US Capitol and US Supreme Court buildings in Washington DC USA.
Timhogs – even MORE interesting is that the pixelation above our “other” presidents residence (the Naval Observatory) is still there.
HMMMMMMMM
Fantastic !!
