Newspaper Carpark

Now this is truly "Large Type" - Perscombinatie printing works in Amsterdam print a lot of newspapers, so when they were decorating the car park they opted for a neat newspaper-like 6 column layout. Brilliant! Submitter "Koos van den Hout" helpfully provided us with a translation for the headlines:
- "Entree" = "Entrance"
- "Afhalen kranten" = "Pick-up newspapers"
- "Parkeren vrachtwagens tot 5m" = "Parking trucks up to 5 metres"
- "Papier" = "Paper"
- "Aanvoer goederen" = "Supply Goods"
- "Uitgang" = "Exit"
Thanks: Koos van den Hout
All i can say is “Doze Crazee Dutch”. God love ’em!
lol, that’s totally awesome.
It’s surprising that the parking lot is so empty, given that a newspaper operates on a more or less 24/7 basis.
What about “Papier” and “Aanover goederen”?
And ‘ultgang’ too! (Although I’m guessing ‘exit’…)
Babelfish power! I’ve updated this post with the translations.
Perscombinatie does not /edit/ newspapers, they /print/ them. And therefore their parking lot will be mostly empty during daylight times. It likely is full between midnight and 06:00…
