In Flight
Saturday, 27th May 2006 by James Turnbull
Here's a plane in flight, here's another one, and another. Ah, there's hundreds of them - Boring! Now, here's a School Bus In Flight. That's much more interesting!
This is actually the City Museum in St. Louis. Built in an old shoe factory, the roof decor features two aircraft fuselages and a school bus.

awesomeness. I swear the sights are getting better.
Oh, man, what a trip. Now how am I gonna get this thing back down to the road? These field trips are getting worse.
Really Great!
magic school bus?
hahahaha is it just me or is there a provocative shadow next to the schoolbus?
The aircraft aren’t actually on the roof, but are incorporated into a outdoor structure (must be around 50 feet tall) which is sort of like a gerbil cage for humans. You can climb inside them, flip switches and things.
This is part of the St.Louis City Museum The bus hangs off the roof, but I think its gone now. The city museum recently acquired the worlds largest pencil. And the gerbil cage thing is called MonstroCity, its a scrap metal welded play structure. Go to the City Museum website to check it out. Make sure you stop by if you ever travel through St.Louis!
