Intimate Rooftop Moment?
Friday, 1st February 2008 by James Turnbull
On a rooftop in the Netherlands we find a blurry picture that may, possibly, if-you-squint-your-eyes, might appear to be two people that are lying very close to each other.
Now, I'm not going to speculate what these people are doing in the privacy of their rooftop. In fact, I'm not even sure that there's more than one person there!
For all we know this is just some run-of-the-mill topless sunbathing, right? I mean, what else could it be?
Thanks to "IRoN CYbOrG"
What is it with you guys and our rooftops? Surely there must be naked people on rooftops in other countries as well?
Clearly just one person. I gave you two stars because it may be two people, one of whom has no legs; which would be a slightly more interesting find than a single person sunbathing.
In my opinion this is obviously one person.
I could see how someone could think a there is an additional person on the left (our perspective) side of the chair, but they would have to be laying on thier side.
Guy reading the Financial Times.
Gonna have to go with “one person.” Probably a shirtless man wearing shorts. Could be lying on his back or front.
Oh if only we could find a couple engaged in coitus satellitus…
I bet it’s a siamese twin.
And I better wear something decent the next time I am sunning on my rooftop…
In any case, this here is definitely only one person: https://www.googlesightseeing.com/maps?p=&c=&t=k&hl=en&ll=52.079466,4.331676&z=22
Unless, of course, someone is squashed underneath…
This is shameless attempt at getting your hit rate up! History has shown us that the equation Rooftop+nudity + possible hanky panky = huge increase in visitors to the site!
You hussies!
If i squint, i see 3 legs and 1 arm, so i’m guessing it is in fact 1 person 🙂
Also, the rooftop in question isn’t private enough for romantic moments. The row of houses appears to have two roof levels, with the person(s) in question being on the lower level and, for that reason, visible by anyone on the higher level. People elsewhere on the lower level might also be able to see.
This is one of the funniest articles ever: http://newsbiscuit.com/article/town-planners-playing-scrabble-using-google-earth-291 … and it combines three of my favourite things! Hurrah!
I don’t know about the rooftop, but the Scrabble link’s got it about right – I used to booze with the borough engineers of Sandwell and Dudley about thirty years back, they used to have a standing bet of a pint each week on who had the longest traffic tailbacks during the previous week, the M5 or M6.
Anyway, this was already spotted on the Top Ten Naked People of Google Earth report, as well as someone else a few doors up and the famous naked girl a street away. The Google Earth enlargement’s clearer, it might be two people seated, one on the lap of the other, in any case the height of the shadows shows they’re surrounded with screens.
