Peeing in the Street
Wednesday, 24th December 2008 by Alex Turnbull
Well we've thought we've seen people relieving themselves in front of the Street View car before, but we've never had such definitive evidence.
No, it's not what you're thinking - quite the opposite in fact. This time, while working in Madrid, the Google car has captured an image of a woman taking a pee in the street.
Anyone want to take bets on how quickly this will be removed? And will El País pick up the story before then!?
Update: As expected, the image is now gone.
Looks like she really had to go…
Pretty damn quickly, as it happens (05:52 GMT).
Huh, or maybe I’m wrong and it’s an hour later.
@433 – no you were right the first time, our server seems to be an hour out.
She is still visible from just down the street, having just finished up…
It was removed because you published it.
This is a very common sight in the early hours of Saturday/Sunday morning in Manchester..
Well, it seems that something Is flowing from under the rear wheel of the blue car …
Privacy is a thing of the past
No kidding, Tony. When I urinate in a public throughfare, privacy is important to me.
Could of been worse if she needed a number 2.
Not so sure that it is a shiela, may have had trousers down to lay a grody. If you go just around the corner and look back you can see someone preparing to squat between the cars. To me, said person looks like they have a moustache, but maybe that is common amongst the French.
The French? Last time I looked, Madrid was in Spain!
BTW Yoshino, glad I wasn’t the only one to check for evidence in the surrounding shots!
Just had a look and I think it is a shadow, not a moustache: https://www.googlesightseeing.com/maps?p=&c=&t=h&hl=en&ll=40.408399,-3.714581&z=14&layer=c&cbll=40.39909,-3.719071&cbp=12,72.73538052929466,,3,5.437946112103627
