Desert Week 2010
Monday, 21st June 2010 by Alex Turnbull
Only one week late, today marks the return of the much-more-interesting-than-it-sounds desert week! If you're unfamiliar with the concept, then prepare yourself for a week of posts based in areas that, er… receive extremely low amounts of precipitation.
We previously held desert weeks in both 2009 and 2008, and there really are some excellent posts in there to explore:
Have you got an idea for something desert-related that you think we should feature this week? We'd love to hear your suggestions, or if you're so inclined, why not write it yourself? We're always on the lookout for good writers, and we pay per published post. Get in touch if you'd like us to consider your story.
First up in this year's desert week will be Australia's Great Sandy Desert – available shortly!
Hey Alex, Is the “Get in touch” link disabled, or just linked incorrectly? I have a few people interested in contributing.
Hey Kevin – thanks for spotting, it was just a simple typo on my part (I left out a forward slash).
Now fixed, cheers.
