On this day: Victoria Terminus Opened

On June 20, 1887, Victoria Terminus opened in Mumbai. Now known as Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus, it is the busiest train station in India, with more than 3 million people a day passing through it. Jai Ho, the rousing closing song in Slumdog Millionaire was filmed in the station. This excellent Photosphere was taken by Nikhilesh Haval.
