Picture This

Here's a cool sculpture, 'Picture This' outside the North Carolina Museum of Art is made of all sorts of different stuff (pavement, wooden boardwalk, sand, gravel, etc). Tom Cole says:
It's almost impossible to clearly make this out at ground level
He's right too. Over at the Museum's homepage they've got some ground level shots, and it certainly doesn't look like much from down there... looks great from up here though!
Thanks to Darwin Campa, Tom Cole, Dan and MrDorkESQ.
What’s the link to the pictures on “Museum’s homepage” ? the only mention I found was at: http://ncartmuseum.org/museumpark/trail.shtml
Here’s a photo tour of the letters… it looks like they were done by multiple artists. Neat! http://ncartmuseum.org/collections/highlights/20thcentury/grounds/picturethis.shtml
this was done by artist Barbara Kruger
Huh. I live in NC and have visited that musesum on a number of occasions and I’ve never known about that. Thanks for the heads up!
Barbara Kruger is awesome. People try to steal her style all the time…
When Google Maps started up that was one of the first things I looked for (I live in Raleigh)… I’m glad to see it’s on a list where others outside of Raleigh can see it!
