Circuit de Nevers Magny-Cours

Friday, 1st July 2005 by James

The French Grand Prix will be running this weekend at Magny-Cours Formula 1 track and fans are hoping that a few more cars will race than the debacle last month at Indianapolis.

There’s no cars on the track in the Magny-Cours satellite photo but there’s some good large type all around the course.

Why is Adelaide written on the track?

  2. 2. Conor says:

Adelaide is the name of one of the corners - most of the corners are named after other F1 tracks. Adelaide is the hairpin.

    Good race this weekend.

Check out this big railway ‘turntable’ to the north in the city of Nevers. I’ve been looking all over for these, but this is the first one I’ve found.
