Tokyo Disney Resort

Completing the set of Disney Parks is the Tokyo Disney Resort. The resort is split into two main sections, Tokyo Disneyland Park, with the usual magic mountain, etc. and Tokyo DisneySea Park which is based around various themed ‘ports’. One such port is “American Waterfront” which features the S.S.Columbia, a boat that has nowhere to go.

To the west, along the water front, is the Official Hotels and to the north east is the Ikspiari Shopping Centre (with large type).

Is that a cruise ship in their ring of water?

  2. gIMpSTa says:

I couldn’t find much about what the ship actually is, but here is a ground shot of it.

  4. Actually, it completes the set of open Disney parks. Honk Kong Disneyland will open this September 12th and has not yet been posted to the site. One more to go.

  5. While looking at the Hong Kong Disneyland link I posted above, I happened to see this strange plane “shadow.”

    Weird, huh?

P.S. Sorry for the typo in the last post. I do know how to spell HonG Kong.

If you’d like to see the park from the ground, I did a 63MB videoblog there a few weekends ago.

The steamliner is actually a building that houses a number of restaurants. Not very exciting. Or so my wife says. I never made it over that way.

The size of the Disney Hong Kong theme park is just massive; it’s damn near the size of downtown Kowloon.
