Scimitar Pool

According to submitter “Roberto” this house is owned by a local butcher who had his swimming pool built in the shape of his company’s logo, a Scimitar sword.
I checked our submissions database and there were no other custom-made pools in recognisable shapes. I’m sure there must be loads out there so if you can find any then please leave a comment on here

The Alabama Governor’s mansion has a pool shaped like the state of Alabama here / Google Earth.

The pool appears to be empty in the sat photo, but you can see some excellent pics from it’s heyday by searching on “Cypress Gardens pool” in Google images.

Sorry, this is going to be negative, but the pool is not shaped as a scimitar, which did have and do have a much thinner and longer blade (still curved and sharp on one side).
That sword is a falchion. They are much wider and MUCH heavier, and worked more like an axe than a sword. (Chopping with it’s weight, rather than slashing or thrusting with it’s fine edge.)
