Chess Anyone?

Here’s the perfect location in northern Idaho for the world’s largest game of chess. I imagine that pieces to fit the board might set you back a bit though…

    They are actually playing, silly. But they are using regular sized pieces and they don’t show up too well on the satellite photos.

    Nigerachie, we’re based in Edinburgh, Scotland although the server is currently not showing the right time, as we’re actually only 4.30 pm at the moment (the clocks just went back you see…)

    And no, no-one wants to talk about that… ;-)

    It looks like it would be fun to take a gang of people (32 or so) and play a game, but the squares are a quarter mile across each. Bring good shoes and a sack lunch.
